The Hanji Skincare Guide

Know what you're putting on your skin.

Everything you need to build your ritual: what each product does, the ingredients inside it, how to layer it, and the routine that fits your skin.

The four-step ritual

Thinnest to thickest. Hydrate, treat, seal.

Layering works best when each product goes on in order of texture, lightest first, so every step can do its job before the next one goes on top.

Your daily routine

Morning and night, step by step

AM · about 3 minutes

Morning ritual

Lighter amounts, finished with sunscreen.

  1. CleanseA gentle cleanser, or just rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry, leaving skin slightly damp.
  2. Deep Dew Hydrating Serum2 to 3 drops pressed into damp skin. Damp skin helps hyaluronic acid hold on to water.
  3. PDRN Brightening Serum2 to 3 drops over face and neck. Wait about 30 seconds.
  4. Clarity Glow Serum2 drops, pressed in rather than rubbed.
  5. Glass Finish CreamA pea-sized amount, warmed between fingertips.
  6. Sunscreen, SPF 30 or higherAlways the last morning step. Brighter-looking skin starts with protecting it from the sun.
PM · about 4 minutes

Evening ritual

The repair window. Take your time with each layer.

  1. Remove makeup and cleanseDouble cleanse if you wore makeup or sunscreen: an oil or balm first, then a gentle cleanser.
  2. Deep Dew Hydrating Serum3 drops on damp skin. Let it sink in for 30 to 60 seconds.
  3. PDRN Brightening Serum3 drops. Night is when skin does most of its renewing, so never skip this one.
  4. Clarity Glow Serum2 drops. Focus on areas with visible pores or uneven tone.
  5. Glass Finish CreamA slightly thicker layer than the morning to seal everything in overnight.

Short on time? The Starter Trio covers the essentials in three steps: Deep Dew Hydrating Serum, PDRN Brightening Serum, then Glass Finish Cream.

What's inside, and what it does

Deep Dew Hydrating Serum
Step 1 · Hydrate

Deep Dew Hydrating Serum

The foundation of the ritual. Several sizes of hyaluronic acid pull water into the skin at different depths at once, so skin looks plumper and every layer that follows has a well-hydrated base to work on.

  • Multi-molecular hyaluronic acid: larger molecules hydrate the surface for an instant smooth, dewy look, while smaller ones help hydrate deeper layers.
Best forEvery skin type, especially dry, dehydrated or tight-feeling skin

PDRN Brightening Serum
Step 2 · The signature step

PDRN Brightening Serum

Our hero. PDRN has become one of the most talked-about ingredients in skincare, and this lightweight serum pairs it with a smoothing peptide and hyaluronic acid for skin that looks brighter, smoother and more resilient over time.

  • PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide): the ingredient behind the buzz, used to support the look of healthy, resilient, radiant skin.
  • Acetyl hexapeptide-8: a peptide known for helping soften the look of fine lines and expression lines.
  • Sodium hyaluronate: a lightweight form of hyaluronic acid that adds a second layer of moisture.
Best forDullness, early fine lines, tired-looking skin

Clarity Glow Serum
Step 3 · Refine

Clarity Glow Serum

The tone-evening step. A high 10% dose of niacinamide visibly refines the look of pores and helps even out dullness and uneven tone, while soothing botanicals keep it comfortable on the skin.

  • 10% niacinamide (vitamin B3): one of the most researched skincare ingredients, known for helping minimize the look of pores, balance the look of oiliness and even skin tone.
  • Chamomile: a classic calming botanical that helps skin feel soothed.
  • Allantoin: helps soften and condition skin so the formula feels gentle.

Glass Finish Cream
Step 4 · Seal

Glass Finish Cream

The final layer. This hydrating cream locks in everything you've applied, keeping skin cushioned and comfortable through the day or overnight. It's the step that turns hydration into a lasting, dewy finish.

  • Hyaluronic acid moisture complex: keeps skin hydrated while the cream's texture helps hold moisture in, so serums underneath stay where you put them.
Best forAll skin types; use a little more if your skin runs dry

Get the most from your ritual

Six habits that make the difference

01
Apply serums to damp skin

Hyaluronic acid works best with a little water on the skin to hold on to.

02
Give each layer a moment

Wait 30 to 60 seconds between steps so each one can absorb.

03
Press, don't rub

Gently press serums in with your palms. It's kinder to skin and wastes less product.

04
Wear sunscreen every morning

No brightening routine can keep up with daily sun exposure on its own.

05
Patch test anything new

Try a small amount on your inner arm for 24 hours before using on your face.

06
Be consistent

Skin renews itself over about a month. Give your ritual 4 to 8 weeks of daily use.

A DNA-derived ingredient first made popular in Korean skincare. It's used in topical formulas to support the look of resilient, healthy, radiant skin.
Acetyl hexapeptide-8
A short chain of amino acids (a peptide), sometimes called argireline, known for helping soften the look of expression lines.
